Robert Walsh

Robert represents South Strathclyde Dumfries and Galloway.
I was appointed as a Justice of the Peace in South Strathclyde Dumfries and Galloway in June 2013. During my tenure in office, I have attended many training sessions both locally and at the Judicial Institute and always take an active part in the training. I was appointed to the Justice of the Peace Advisory Committee and I am a mentor for newly appointed Justices. I have also been appointed as panel member on the Rates Valuation Appeals Panel.
I attended Loughborough Colleges for three years. My hobby is golf, when my wife lets me, I am a former Football Referee and officiated as a linesman at many Scottish Premier League games. I also enjoy Ballroom and Latin Dancing.
I have recently retired from the motor trade. I am married with two grown up daughters and have five grandchildren.
