Resigning or retiring?

When you reach the retirement age of a Justice of the Peace, your membership of the Scottish Justices Association will automatically cease.

If you resign as a Justice of the Peace, you should inform the Sheriff Principal for your Sheriffdom.  We would be grateful if you would also inform the membership secretary of the Scottish Justices Association directly. Please give us the date when you will cease to be a Justice of the Peace and a phone number for queries.
